Chailey Common Cattle Update 29th April
Cattle are moving onto Lane End Common today, 29th April and will be moving on to the combined commons Pound, Memorial and Romany Ridge over the weekend 2/3rd May. There are no cattle at Red House Common, but the 5 Exmoor ponies remain there.
Please keep dogs under control so they don’t chase or worry the livestock. Dog fouling remains an issue – and Neospora is a parasite that causes cattle to abort calves. Please clean up after dogs and don’t allow them into the cattle troughs, this water is for drinking only.
